Step-by-step explanation:

1) getting 6 = (given)28/350

= 14/175

= 2/25

2) getting score under 6 = 360-28 = 332

so,

332/350

= 166/175

Answer: i) 2/25  ii)23/25

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, a die is thrown 350 times and obtained the score of 6 about 28 times.

Therefore, the score under 6 which has been obtained = 350 - 28 = 322

now,

⇒ the probability of getting a score of 6 = no. of times 6 obtained / total no.of times the die thrown

⇒ 28/350 = 2/25

∵ the probability of getting a score of 6 is 2/25

now,

method 1:

⇒ the probability of getting a score under 6 = (total - no.of times 6 obtained) / total no.of times die is thrown.

⇒ (350-28)/350 = 322/350

⇒23/25

or

method 2:

⇒ the probability of getting a score under 6 = 1 - probability of getting a score of 6

⇒ 1 - 2/25

⇒ (25 - 2) / 25

⇒ 23/25

∵ the probability of getting a score under 6 is 23/25
