3. A square of side 4 cm is inscribed in a circle as shown in the figure
Find the area of the shaded portion. (Take Π= 3.14, √2=1.41)​

diagonal of square =√2 x side

=1.41x 4

=5.64cm

Now,

Radius=5.64/2

=2.82cm

Area=πr^2

= 3.14x2.82x2.82

=24.9705cm^2

Then,

Area of square = 4x4

=16cm^2

area of shaded portion = 24.9705 - 16

=8.9705 cm^2
