Step-by-step explanation:

 \bold{Area  \: of  \: the \:  room \:  is  \: given  \: by \: 7.5 m\times 5m = 37.5 {m}^{2} }

Area of the Verandah with room is given by

  \bold{(7.5 + 1.25 + 1.25)m \times (5 + 1.25 + 1.25)m}

 \bold{\implies  \: 10m \times 7.5m = 7 5{m}^{2}}

 \bold{ \therefore \: the \: area \: of \: verandah \:  =75  {m}^{2}  - 35 {m}^{2}  = 37.5 {m}^{2} }

 \bold{cost \: of \: cementing \: the \: floor \: of \: verandah \implies \: rs.15 /{m}^{2} }

 \bold{total \: cost \: of \: cementing \: the \: floor \: of \: the \: verandah}

 \bold{ \implies{37.5 \times 15 = rs.562.5}}

Total cost of cementing 450rps.

Given that,

Area of the room is 4×5.5=22m²

Area of the verandah with room is =(5.5+1.25+1.25)×(4+1.25+1.25)

8×6.5=52

Area of verandah 52−22

=30m²

Cost of cementing =15rps

Total cost of cementing =30×15

=450rps

Thus,

We get total cost of cementing 450rps.
