3. An object 5 cm in length is placed at a distance of 20 cm in front of a convex mirror, it's image is formed at 10 cm behind the mirror. Find the nature and size of the image.

▪️v1=607⇒v=760

▪️v=8.57≈8.6cm

▪️The image is formed behind the mirror at a distance of 8.6 cm ▪️m=h1h2=−uv

▪️→5h2=−208.57

▪️∴h2=2.175 cm

▪️Thus the image is 2.175 cm high, virtual and erect.▪️
