Answer question numbers 3(a) - 3(d) based on your understanding of the
following paragraph and the related studied concepts
The universal law of gravitation states that every body in the universe attracts
every other body with a force, which varies directly as the product of their
masses and inversely as the square of the distance between them. Universal
gravitation constant is denoted by 'G' and it has value (667x10-" Nm? /
kg), which does not depend upon place and time. The gravitation force of
attraction does not change with change in the medium between the objects.
The earth attracts objects towards it due to the gravitational force. This force is
weakest force and is always attractive in nature.

other. The gravitational force F between object A and object B will be

Answer:

3. Suppose that two objects attract each other with a gravitational force of 16 units. If the mass of both objects was doubled, and if the distance between the objects remained the same, then what would be the new force of attraction between the two objects?
