Subject: Covid 19 pandemic havoc across the globe
Dear Sir:
The entire world is going through challenging and tough times. Coronavirus pandemic is spreading fast across the globe. As many as 344, 194 people have been reported dead with this virus across the world. Total number of infected patients is 5,417,348; 2,254,299 infected people have recovered. The disease is spreading to other countries. Situation in Iran and Italy is also very critical.
In India to 131,920 people have been reported infected with this virus. 3,869 people have died. Indian Government has taken many preventive measures. All schools, colleges, universities, cinemas, etc. have been closed till June 30, 2020. The government has started giving relaxations to the lockdown with many guidelines. The economies of many countries in the world have been severely affected. Millions of people have lost jobs. Survival has become difficult.
The Indian Central Government has tried to revive the limping economy by injecting the financial package of 2000000 crore rupees in various primary, secondary, and tertiary sectors of the economy. The package is good; but the government should have done more for the poor and the underprivileged people.
Kindly give my views some space in your daily. I appeal to the government to do more for the poor and middle class people.
