POLLUTION

Pollution, also called environmental pollution, the addition of any substance (solid, liquid, or gas) or any form of energy (such as heat, sound, or radioactivity) to the environment at a rate faster than it can be dispersed, diluted, decomposed, recycled, or stored in some harmless form. The major kinds of pollution, usually classified by environment, are air pollution, water pollution, and land pollution. Modern society is also concerned about specific types of pollutants, such as noise pollution, light pollution, and plastic pollution. Pollution of all kinds can have negative effects on the environment and wildlife and often impacts human health and well-being.

An article on increase in pollution in many cities due to increase number of private cars

Step by step explanation:

Increase in pollution, but who is the culprit?

[By Rashid Ali Indira Public School, Jamshedpur]

Jamshedpur: The number of private vehicles are increasing tremendously since past five years, which is the real culprit behind the pollution.

According to the RTO of Jamshedpur, everyday 300 to 500 new private vehicles in Jamshedpur are registered. Because of this increase the roads are facing huge traffics but above all, the pollutants release by them is very hazardous for us as well as the nature.

There are reports by hospitals suggests that there is an increase in prevalence as well as incidence of respiratory tract infections. The pollutant debris settles deep down in the respiratory passage and causing irritation to the membrane. This further leads to various respiratory diseases, lung cancer and cardiac diseases.

To prevent this the state government has taken some initiatives. As a responsible citizens we must follow them
