yes.

In case of Simple harmonic motion (SHM), at amplitude position/ max displacement , the acceleration is maximum but the velocity is zero.

Acceleration and velocity are opposite in direction.

Another easier example is that:

A ball is thrown upwards with velocity.

When it reaches highest point, it's velocity is zero, but acceleration ( gravity) still acts.
