the type of respiration depends on presence and absence of oxygen..
THE DIFFERENCE ARE:
1. in aerobic respiration glocose is completely dissolv

SKFAIZANAHMED: sorry meant to say
SKFAIZANAHMED: gloucose is completely dissolved in aerobic and not in anaerobic
harsh271964: and
SKFAIZANAHMED: in areobic 38 atp molecules are release but only 2 in anarobic
SKFAIZANAHMED: mark it as BRAINLIST if its useful..... :)

The difference between aerobic and anaerobic respiration are :-

1. The respiration which takes place in presence of oxygen is known as aerobic respiration whereas the respiration which takes place in absent of oxygen is known as anareobic respiration.

2. In the aerobic complete broke down of glucose takes place whereas incomplete broke down takes place in case of anaerobic respiration.

3. More energy produce in case of aerobic respiration but less energy produce in case of anaerobic respiration.

4. The product of aerobic respiration is carbondioxide whereas the product of anaerobic respiration is ethanol.

5. Aerobic Occurs in mitochondria of a cell but anaerobic occurs in cytoplasm of a cell.
