Pagodas:
In the story visit to the pagodas by W. Somerset Maugham, he has described about his trip to the Japanese Peace Pagodas Temple. He describes the trip as nice and peaceful. He talks about the four avatars of Buddha that are showcased in the temple. The temple is extremely surreal and peaceful and everybody, in spite of their caste, color, and creed are welcome in the temple.
The temple is a beautiful creation of Nichidatsu Fuji. He talks about how the folks enthusiastically sing the prayers with the drumbeats.
