The three disadvantages of Green Revolution is given below:-

1) Green revolution associated with the loss of soil fertility to increase use of chemical fertilizer. Also continuous use of groundwater for tubewell irrigation have led to depletion of the water table.

2) Environmental resources like soil fertility and groundwater for built up over years. Once destroyed it is very difficult to restore them. We must take care of the environment to ensure future development of agriculture.
