The vernacular press act is an example of this.But as time passes and with the rise of national movement many Indian newspapers and authors also came into being.

While the earlier agenda of political parties of colonial India was to have a share of Indians in the government and council, the lately the demand grew for 'Swaraj' or complete independence.
