A) Glycolysis is the first step involved in the process of respiration whereas TCA cycle is the second process in respiration.

Glycolysis takes place in the cytoplasm whereas TCA cycle operates inside the mitochondria.

In glycolysis, the net gain is equal to 8 ATP molecules whereas in TCA cycle it is equal to 24 molecules of ATP.

In glycolysis, carbon dioxide is not evolved whereas in TCA cycle carbon dioxide is evolved.

B)Cells divide and reproduce in two ways, mitosis and meiosis. Mitosis results in two identical daughter cells, whereas meiosis results in four sex cells. Below we highlight the keys differences and similarities between the two types of cell division

C)Aerobic respiration takes place in presence of oxygen; whereas anaerobic respiration takes place in absence of oxygen. Carbon dioxide and water are the end products of aerobic respiration, while alcohol is the end product of anaerobic respiration. Aerobic respiration releases more energy than anaerobic respiration.
