Answer :-

Given :-

  • Sum of roots = 4
  • Product of roots = 1

To Find :-

  • Quadratic Polynomial

Solution :-

We know that,

Sum of roots of quadratic polynomial = -b/a

Product of roots = c/a

So,

→ -b/a = 4

→ c/a = 1

Let the value of a be 1

→ -b = 4

→ b = -4

→ c = 1

Hence,

→ a = 1 , b = -4 and c = 1

So, quadratic polynomial = x² - 4x + c
