Hi ,
***************************************************
Slope of a straight line passing through

the points ( x1 , y1 ) and ( x2 , y2 ) is

m = ( y2 - y1 )/( x2 - x1 )
**************************************************
Now ,

i ) Let A( x1 , y1 ) = ( 3 ,-2 ) and

B( x2 , y2 ) = ( 7 , 2 )

slope of the line AB = [ 2 - ( -2 ) ]/( 7 - 3 )

m = 4/4

m = 1

ii ) Let C( x1 , y1 ) = ( 2 , -4 ) , and

D ( x2 , y2 ) = ( 0 , 0 )

slope of the line CD = [0 - ( -4 ) ]/( 0 - 2 )

m = 4/(-2)

m = -2

iii ) Let P( x1 , y1 ) = ( 4 , 2 ) and

Q( x2 , y2 ) = ( 6 , 4 )

slope of the line PQ = ( 4 - 2 )/( 6 - 4 )

m = 2/2

m = 1

I hope this helps you.
