3 friends went to a hotel. their bill became 30 rupees and each decided to give 10 10 rupees to the waiter who gave it to the manager. but the manager kept only 25 rupees and returned the remaining 5 rupees to the waiter to give it to those boys. But since 5 rupees cannot be divided among those 3 they decided to keep 1 rupee each and gave the remaining 2 rupee to the waiter. Now the total money invested by the three friend is 9 rupee each. So total investment=3*9=27. Now if we add the money given to the waiter in the total investment i.e. 27+2=29. Where the one rupee go?

Answer:

Waiter return one - one rupee to the three persons.

So, the total bill given by three persons = ₹ 27

Explanation:

Cost of food = Rs (30 - 5) = Rs 5

But the waiter turned greedy. He then withdrew 2 rupees out of the total of 5.

Waiter return one - one rupee to the three persons. So, the total bill given by three persons = 9 × 3 = ₹ 27

As we are aware, the waiter took 2 rupees and added them to the bill, making the final amount 27 rupees.

And the Rs 3 that was provided to the three people would become Rs 30 when we add this money to the total.

It is a fundamental mathematical procedure that is frequently used in daily life. When we work with money, figure out our food bills, or figure out the time, we frequently employ addition. One-digit numbers can be added simply for solving addition problems, however for bigger numbers, we divide the numbers into columns using their corresponding place values, such as ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, and so on.
