Explanation:

a) Because these structures are are extra membranal, Hence no neuron or blood vessels are present in them, So shearing them doesn't cause pain.

Some other examples are Hairs, Nails, Horns, Tusks.

b) Better ask a shepherd. lol

c) Because breeding of good quality sheep results in better offsprings. These offspring are called hybrid, produce better wool, large meat and proteinaceous milk.
