a. Cells perform all the functions of life, and it builds structure of our tissues.

b. Plants cells need to be more rigid, because of their functions, it is their adaptation.

Plant cell are more rigid then animal cell coz plant cells contains cell wall where as there is absence of cell wall in animal cell. Cell wall is made up of cellulose. It gives plant cell it's shape.
