Studying history at AS/A2 is certainly challenging but once you become immersed in the subject it gets easier as you find yourself wanting to know more about the topic of study. The thing I find most difficult in studying history at AS/A2 is remembering the various dates when covering a large period of history.
Studying history enables us to develop better understanding of the world in which we live. Building knowledge and understanding of historical events and trends, especially over the past century, enables us to develop a much greater appreciation for current events today.
