Given :- The sides that form the right angle of a triangle are 3.5 cm and 4.2 cm long.

To find :- The area of the triangle.

Solution :-

We know that,

→ Area of triangle = 1/2 * b * h.

We have values,

  • b = 3.5cm.
  • h = 4.2cm.

putting all values we get,

→ Area of triangle = 1/2 * 3.5 * 4.2

→ Area of triangle = 1 * 3.5 * 2.1

→ Area of triangle = 3.5 * 2.1

Area of triangle = 7.35 (Ans.)

Hence, the area of the right angle triangle is 7.35cm².

  • Area of traingle = 1/2 * b * h.
  • Perimeter of traingle = Sum of all sides.
  • Area of Rectangle = length * breadth.
  • Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 (l+b).
  • Diagonal of Rectangle = √(l)² + (b)².
  • Area of Sqaure = Side * Side.
  • Perimeter of Square = 4 * Side.
  • Diagonal of Square = √2a.

Given :

Base of traingle (B) = 3.5cm

Height of traingle (H) = 4.2cm

To Find :

Area of Traingle

Solution :

As in the Question Sides of right traingle are given, where Base is 3.5cm and height is 4.2 cm. By using The formula of area of triangle 1/2 × Base × Height. By Putting the values in the formula we can easily find the area of triangle

Area of Traingle = 1/2 × B × H

Where,

  • Base (B) = 3.5cm

  • Height (H) = 4.2cm

→ Area = 1/2 × 3.5 × 4.2

→ Area = 1/2 × 14.75

→ Area = 7.35cm²

∴ Area of Traingle is 7.35cm²
