Given :- The surface of a square table is completely covered by 9 pieces of 1 sq.m.

To Find :- What is the surface area of the table ?

Solution :-

→ Area of each piece = 1 m²

and,

→ Total pieces needed to covered square table = 9

so,

→ Area of 9 pieces = 1 * 9 = 9 m² .

now given that, The surface of a square table is completely covered by 9 such pieces .

then,

→ The surface area of the table = Area of 9 pieces = 9 m² (Ans.)

Area of 1 piece = 1 sq m

Area of 9 pieces = 9 * 1  sq m
