The pie chart is attached

Let the total number of students be x

Since 12.5% passed in first class, 20% students in third class and 17.5% students failed

Thus, total percentage of first class, third class and failed students

=12.5 +20+17.5

=50\%

Which means 50% students passed in second class

Thus

50% of x = 20

or, x/2 = 20

or, x = 40

Therefore, the total students in the class are 40

Students passes in first class

= 12.5% of 40

=40\times \frac{12.5}{100}

=5

Students passes in third class

= 20% of 40

=40\times \frac{20}{100}

=8

Students failed

= 17.5% of 40

=40\times \frac{17.5}{100}

=7

The pie chart is attached.
