3. Madhu's piggy bank contains 5- rupee and 10- rupee coins. The number of 5 - rupee
coins is double the number of 10 - rupee coins. If the total value of the coins in her
piggy bank is * 250, find the number of coins each denomination.

Answer:

Let the number of 10 rupee coin is =x

so the 5 rupee coin will be= 2x

The money for 5 rupee coin is=10x

The money for 10 rupee coin is =10x

Total money=250

=>10x+10x=250

=>20x=250

=>X=250/20

or x=12.5

so it can't be possible for a coin in decimal format.

I think question may be wrong.
