Here is your answer,

Let, one day work of men be x and one day work of boy be y.


3x + 4y = 1/8( IT IS EQUATION 1)

so in 2nd condition,

4x + 4y = 1/6 (IT IS EQUATION 2)

So, now we will  solve equation (1) and (2)

3x + 4y - 4x - 4y = 1/8 - 1/6

y = 2/48

y = 1/24

So, now we will put the value of y in equation(1)

3x + 4y = 1/8


3x + 4/24 => 1/8

3x + 1/6 => 1/8

3x => 1/8 - 1/6

x => - 3/24
