Step-by-step explanation:

let the price of a necklace be x and price of a ring be y.

then, according to first condition,

3x = 7y

x = 7y/3. ..............i

according to second condition,

3x+3y = 1860

put x=7y/3 ................from i

3(7y/3) + 3y = 1860

7y+3y= 1860

10y = 1860

y = 186

put y = 186 in equation i

x = 7*186/3

x=7*62

x = 434.

thus, the cost of one necklace is 434.

hope it helps you!

Step-by-step explanation:

consider necklace=x,rings=y 3x=7y 3x-7y=0 .... (1) 3x+3y=1860 .... (2) subtract equation 1&2 -10y=-1860 y=186 put value of y in equation (1) 3x=7 (186) 3x=1302 x=434 c.p of 1 necklace=434 rs.
