Production of synthetic fibres help in the conservation of forests. This is because synthetic fibres are produced using chemicals and petroleum products while natural fibres are extracted from various parts of plants and animals. In order for cultivation of these plants, the forests have to be cleared causing deforestation and further climatic as well as global changes. So, the production of synthetic fibres help in the conservation of forests.
