therefore

now

2 tan^2 theta+ sin^2theta - cos^2 theta

=2* 1/3 + 1/4 - 3/4

=2/3 +1/4 - 3/4

=2/3 - 2/4

=2/3 - 1/2

=4-3/6

=1/6

ans=1/6
