3 situation of law of inertia
Answers
Answer:
Inertia was best explained by Sir Isaac Newton in his first law of motion. Basically, the law states that an object at rest stays at rest and an object continues its state of motion until an external force acts on it. Here are some examples: One's body movement to the side when a car makes a sharp turn.

Answer:
there are three laws of motion given by Issac Newton, those are : inertia of rest, inertia of motion and inertia of direction.
Explanation:
their application may clear your doubt
(1) inertia of rest- when u place a coin on a cardboard placed over a tumbler and suddenly remove the cardboard the coin without being displaced by the cardboard falls directly into the tumbler therefore the coin was in rest.
(2) inertia of motion- when you are riding on back of a horse and suddenly the horse stops you fall forward because although your feet came to rest but your head was in inertia of motion which threw you in forward direction.
(3)inertia of direction - when u ride in a bus and the bus suddenly takes a sharp turn towards left u fall towards right.this is because of inertia of direction.this is also applicable in case of stone flung in air due to detachment from its string.
