5x – 3y +9 = 0​           -------------(Equation 2)

On Adding Equation 1 and 2, we get,

7x +14 = 0

      7x = -14

        x = -2               -------(x)  

Substituting (x) in Equation 1 ,we get,

 2(-2) + 3y + 5 = 0

       -4 +3y + 5 = 0

                   3y = -1

                    y = -1/3
