Raoult's law states that in a solution of volatile liquid the partial vapor pressure of each component is directly proportional to its mole fraction present in the solution

According to Raoult's law the vapor pressure of volatile component in solution is given by

Pi=Pi^0 Xi

According to Henry's law

P=Kh x

Comparing above laws the partial pressure is directly proportional to mole fraction
