tanB = 4/3 = perpendicular/base

hypotenuse = √4^2+3^2= 5

cosB = base/ hypotenuse= 3/5

Monish997: But hey! you can't just assume the perpendicular and base to be 4cm and 3cm!
divijthegreat: its just a ratio

Answer: 3/5

Step-by-step explanation:

3*tan(B) = 4

tan(B) = 4/3

tan^2(B) = 16/9

sec^2(B) - 1 = 16/9  [trigonometric identity: 1 + tan^2(B) = sec^2(B)]

sec^2(B) = 25/9

sec(B) = 5/3

cos(B) = 3/5  [because cos(B) = 1/sec(B)]

MARK ME THE BRAINLIEST!!  It has taken a considerable amount of effort answer this! Value it please!
