ANSWER :-

  • Angles are 60° , 60° and 60°.

GIVEN :-

  • Interior angles of triangle are given as (3x) , (2x+20) and (5x-40)

TO FIND :-

  • All the angles of the triangle.

SOLUTION :-

According to Angle Sum Property , sum of all interior angles of a triangle is 180°.

Here , angles are (3x) , (2x+20) , (5x-40) . We will add of these angles and the sum will be 180°.

→ 3x + 2x + 20 + 5x - 40 = 180

→ 3x + 2x + 5x + 20 - 40 = 180

→ 10x - 20 = 180

→ 10x = 180 + 20

→ 10x = 200

→ x = 200/10

x = 20

Angles are :-

  • 3x = 3(20) = 60°
  • (2x + 20) = 2(20) + 20 = 60°
  • (5x - 40) = 5(20) - 40 = 60°

Hence , angles of the triangle are 60° , 60° and 60°.

VERIFICATION :-

Sum of these angles should come 180°.

60 + 60 + 60 = 180

180 = 180 (verified)
