3. The base of a right triangle is 8cm and hypotenuse is 10 cm. Find its area.

By Pythagoras theorem we obtain height as 6 cm

  Area = 1/2 x 8 x 6

           = 24 cm^2

p = \sqrt{ {10}^{2} - {8}^{2} }
p = \sqrt{100 - 64}
p = 6 cm

area of triangle
