3. The difference between circumference and diameter of a circle is 21.4 cm. Find the radius of the circle.

Diameter of circle = 2r

circumference of circle = 2× pi × r

ATQ ,

(2× pi × r) - 2r = 21.4

(2 × 3.14 × r) - 2r = 21.4

6.28r - 2r = 21.4

4.28r = 21.4

r = 21.4 ÷ 4.28

r = 5

Ans 5 cm
