Given :-
- Diagonal of square = 50cm
To Find :-
- Perimeter of square
Solution :-
BD = 50cm
AD = AB = x cm
In ∆ ABD
Using Pythagoras theorem,
(AD)² + (AB)² = (BD)²
(x)² + (x)² = (50)²
(2x)² = (50)²
=
2x = 50
x =
x = 25 cm
Now,
Perimeter of square = 4 × side
= 4 × 25
= 100 cm
