M = 5 Kg

m = 3 Kg

m' = 2 Kg

Mg - ${T}_{1}$ = 5a -----(1)

30 +${T}_{1} -{T}_{2}$ = 3a -----(2)

${T}_{2}$ - 20 = 2a -----(3)

${T}_{1}$ = 50 - 5a

Putting this in equation (2)

30 + 50 - 5a - ${T}_{2}$ = 3a

80 - ${T}_{2}$ = 8a

${T}_{2}$ = 80 - 8a

Putting this in equation (3)

80 - 8a - 20 = 2a

10a = 60

a = 6 ms-².

${T}_{1}$ = 50 - 30

${T}_{1}$ = 20 N

${T}_{2}$ = 80 - 48

${T}_{2}$ = 32 N
