let the number be xy

x+y=9.........EQ 1

10x+y=original number

BY interchangeing digits

yx

10y+X=10x+y+27

9y-9x=27

y-x=3..........EQ 2

ADD EQ 1 AND 2

2Y=12

Y=6

PUT VALUE IN EQ 2
