3. The sum of two consecutive multiples of 5 is 55. Find these multiples.​

Let one of the number be X.

Now , the second number is consecutive and a multiple of 5 , so another number will be X+5.

ACCORDING TO QUESTION

X+X+5=55

Then , 2X=50 and then X =25

So the numbers will be 25 and 30

Let first multiple of 5 is n then second would be 5n + 5 , n is Natural number

Given, (5n )+ (5n+5)=55

=> 10n = 50

=> n = 5

Thus multiples are

1st 5n = 5*5=25

& 2nd (5n+5)=25+5=30
