Answer:

16 , 29

Step-by-step explanation:

ONE NUMBER BE A

OTHER NUMBER IS 13 MORE THAN FIRST NUMBER = A+13

SUM IS 45

A+A+13 = 45

2A+13 = 45

2A = 32

A = 32/2

A =  16

ONE NUMBER IS A = 16

OTHER NUMBER IS A+13 = 16+13 = 29

VERIFICATION:

16 + 29 = 45

45 = 45

THEREFORE NUMBERS ARE 16 , 29

Given :

⬤ Sum of two Numbers = 45.

⬤ One of them is 13 more than the Number .

To Find :

⬤ The Numbers .

Solution :

Let :

  • Let Number A be = x
  • Let Number B be = x + 13

Now :

\sf{x+x+13=45}

2x + 13 = 45

2x = 35 - 13

2x = 22

x = 22/2

x = 11

Therefore , The Value of x is 11 .

Hence ,

Number A = x

= 11

Number B = x + 13

= 11 + 13

= 24

Therefore , The Two Numbers are 11 and 24 .
