The percentage of the weight of blue balls  in the bag is 17.63%

1) The ratio of weight of red and blue ball is given as 9:4

Let the weight of red ball be 9x and blue ball be 4x.

2) Total red balls: 27

weight of red balls :- 27*9x = 243x

3) Total blue balls: 13

weight of blue balls: 13*4x = 52x

4) Total weight of balls =  243+52  = 295 x

Given total weight is 65 kg

295x = 65 kg

x = 0.22kg

5) weight of blue balls would be 52x=  0.22*52 = 11.4576 kg

6) Percentage of weight of blue balls is :

(11.4576/65 )*100 = 17.627 or 17.3=63%

Answer:

X = the weight of the red ball

Y = the weight of the blue ball

9X = 4Y is the ratio between the two balls’ weights

27X + 13Y = 65

27(4Y/9) + 13Y = 65

(108Y/9) + (117Y/9) = 65

108Y + 117Y = 585

225Y = 585

Y = 2.6kg; the weight of blue ball

9X = (4)(2.6)
