Positive and negative changes in the environment are as follows -

Positive changes :

  • Different types of human-operated organizations are arranging afforestation (planting trees) activities. These activities are slowly healing the damage caused by human-caused deforestation (cutting of trees).
  • Different types of multinational companies are now choosing eco-friendly materials for their production, packaging, etc. These small steps are helping to reduce the harmful effect of non-biodegradable waste materials.
  • In the past few years, the whole world is facing the problem of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is surely an unwanted event for the whole world. But, this pandemic also caused some good things. The global lockdown situation decreased the pollution on a global scale, and our environment got a significant period to heal itself. Although this change is most probably temporary because global lockdown is not at all considered in the future (when the pandemic will end).

Negative changes :

  • Deforestation activities are ruining the forest lands. Furthermore, the ecological balance of the environment is getting disturbed, wildlife is getting endangered and many more negative impacts are taking place.
  • Overpopulation is causing excessive usage of natural resources, which isn't good for the environment.
  • Pollution is caused by the majority of human activities, which are ruining the environment to an extreme extent.
