Answer:

Baba Ramchandra

Baba Ramchandra was the main leader of Peasant movement in Awadh during the Non-Cooperation Movement. Baba Ramchandra organised the Kisan Sabha and the movement spread far and wide. More and more peasants joined the Sabha.

(i) The movement here was against talukdars and landlords who demanded high rents from the peasants. (ii) Peasants had to do begar and work at landlords' farms without any payment.

Role Baba Ramchandra play in making Awadh sucess:

Baba Ramchandra was an indentured labourer who had been to Fiji himself. He listened to the grievances of the Awadh peasants. He organized the peasants and made them start 'nai-dhoobhi bhands' so that the landlords were deprived from the basic services of even barbers and washermen.
