A description of 'Traffic Awareness Program's' conducted by your school

Step by step explanation:

Our school had organized 'Traffic Awareness Program' on April 3rd, 2020 for students from 10th, 11th and 12th. Traffic police of Kharghar, Mr Jayesh Bhide, Mr. Sanket Jadhav and head constable, Rhea Muthiyan gave the traffic awareness lectures.

They informed us the minimum age limit of driving on roads. Driving underage is very unsafe and it also violates traffic rules. The rate of road accidents are increasing everyday because of  rash driving. most of them who die in accident are children under age of 14. It is recorded that 15 people die on roads every hour.

They informed us about some basic traffic rules.

  • They showed us the traffic signs and what were their meaning.
  • Whenever there is a sign of speed limit, hospital or school we should slow down our vehicle.
  • Do not park in restricted area, entry or a exit point.
  • Do not change your lane while driving.
  • Follow the heavy, medium, light vehicle division lane accordingly. Do not overtake.
  • Wear helmet and fasten your seat belt while driving.

The most important part was that while driving we should never lose our calm. If everyone of us will follow the traffic norms properly, the roads will get safer.
