Write the measure of their complementary angles

i) 40°

  • let it's complementary angle be "x"

Rule :

Complementary angles add up to 90°

\longrightarrow\bf{ x = 90 - 40}

\longrightarrow\bf{ x = 50}

  • Therefore complementary angle of 40 is 50 .

ii) 63

  • let it's complementary angle be "x"

Rule :

\longrightarrow\bf{ x = 90 - 63}

\longrightarrow\bf{ x = 27}

  • Therefore complementary angle of 63 is 27.

iii) 55°
