Solution

 =  > 3(x - 1) - 2(3x - 1) = 4 \\ \:  \\ multiplying \: and \: opening \: brackets \\  \\ => 3(x)-3(1) -2(3x) -2(-1)=4 \\ \\  =  > 3x - 3 - 6x  +  2 = 4 \\  \\  =  > 3x - 6x - 3 + 2 = 4 \\  \\  =  >  - 3x - 1 = 4 \\  \\  =  >  - 3x = 4 + 1 \\  \\  =  >  - 3x = 5 \\  \\  =  > x =  -  \frac{5}{3}
