3(x-3) = 5(2x+1)

3x-9 = 10x+5

3x-10x = 5+9

-7x = 14

x = 14/-7

x = 2/-1

x = -2 (Answer)

Verify:

3(x-3) = 5(2x+1)

Put the value of x = -2

3(-2-3) = 5[2(-2)+1]

3×-5 = 5[2×-2+1]

-15 = 5(-4+1)

-15 = 5×-3

-15 = -15

LHS=RHS
