\textbf {Your answer !!}

 =  > 3(x + 6) = 4(2x + 8) \\  \\  =  > 3(x) + 3(6) = 4(2x) + 4(8) \\  \\  =  > 3x + 18 = 8x + 32 \\  \\  =  > 3x - 8x = 32 - 18 \\  \\  =  >  - 5x = 14 \\  \\  =  > x =  \frac{14}{ - 5}  \\  \\  =  > x =  \frac{ - 14}{5}  \\  \\  =  > x = 2.8

\textbf {Hence, x = 2.8 is your answer !!}
