=> 4(1/x-2/y)=8.............2

=> 4/x-8/y=8.........3

=> now eqn 1+eqn 3

=>7/x=7

x=1

=>now put the value of x in eqn 1

3/1+8/y=-1

=>8/y=-4

y=-2

now .. x=1,y=-2
