Presbyopia is otherwise known as old age hypermeteropia. It is a defect of vision due to which an old person cannot see the nearby objects clearly due to less power of accommodation of eye.The near point of the person having presbyopia becomes more than 25cm away.

It's correction is to use bifocal lens.

hope it helps friend ^_^

The power of accommodation of the eye decreases with agening due to the gradual weakening of the ciliary muscle s and diminishing flexibility of the eye lens. This defect is known as presbiopia .

Correction

They need bi focal lenses, the upper portion of lens consists of a concave lense and faciliates vision. The lower portion of lense is a convex lens and faciliates near vision.
