3(x-y) =27 and 3(x+y)=243 then x=?

3(x-y)=27
x-y=9____(I)
3(x+y)=243____(ii)
x+y=81
adding I and ii we get
2x=90
x=45,y=36

hi friend here is ur answer
3(x-y)=27
(x-y)=27/3
(x-y)=9 ________(1)
3(x+y)=243
(x+y)=243/3
(x+y)=81 ________(2)
Add equations (1) and (2)
x-y+x+y=9+81
2x=90
x=90/2
x=45.
